Anyone who knows me will know that this is one of my passions! I have taught on this topic countless times, both in one-off teachings and in series. I firmly believe that thanksgiving, praise and worship are vital parts (yes, parts plural... they are not the same thing!) of our Christian life, often relating directly to our intimate relationships with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, but also relating to things such as spiritual warfare.

As with many of my teachings, you may be surprised by my emphasis... while I am heavily involved with music in the church, and have been for most of my life as a born again Christian, I do not believe that music (even so called "praise and worship" music) is necessarily thanksgiving, praise or worship! It can be part of it, but it is rarely, if ever, the fullness of worship to our God. My teachings on this topic reflect this, focusing mainly on the intimate relationship that we are meant to be having with God and how we can more openly and honestly respond to the revelation of Him in our lives.
